The Salus Institute, part of Salus Participations, has been awarded the Racial Equality seal by the City of São Paulo Prefecture today, marking the third time the organization has been acknowledged for implementing affirmative workplace policies.
The Racial Equality Seal Program acknowledges private companies that have a minimum of 20% representation of black or mixed-race individuals in various roles and levels among their employees. This initiative aims to encourage diversity in organizations and advance ethnic and racial equality while addressing discrimination.
Carla Sarni, CEO of the Salus Group, emphasizes the importance of implementing inclusive practices to enhance diversity among employees. She views the award as a group effort that highlights their goal of creating a positive impact and hopes to inspire other companies to follow suit.
The Salus Institute, the group’s social branch, focuses on providing assistance to vulnerable populations through initiatives such as dental, eye care, and oral health workshops. Discover the programs and find out how you can get involved as a volunteer.
